In the position as Pricing Manager for Sealand Europe and Mediterranean, you will join the Revenue Management team in Copenhagen, a team of engaged and enthusiastic people who handle short term pricing and enable the Trades to deliver top line improvement. The pricing manager sets and optimizes the short term prices (validity up to and including 13 weeks) of ocean products within the assigned geographical scope, offering the most relevant prices to customers while maximizing the profit for Sealand. This is done through use of data analysis, forecasting and close coordination with Market Managers and frontline stakeholders. The Pricing Manager role is a key enabler to execute the pricing plan, inclusive of monitoring the effects of pricing decisions to enable continuous learnings and improvement.
Key Responsibilities
You will, in close cooperation with Market Managers and the Head of Revenue Management for Sealand Europe and Mediterranean, optimize the top line and run the daily pricing.

As Pricing Manager, your responsibilities will include, amongst other things, the following tasks:


  • Monitoring of pricing-relevant trends and ad-hoc gathering of pricing data/information, in close coordination with Operations, Market Managers and frontline stakeholders
  • Pricing analysis and modeling
  • Defining a pricing structure and disseminating prices for ocean products within assigned scope with validity up to and including 13 weeks
  • Data and analysis driven day-to-day price optimization
  • Pricing plan creation, alignment and execution with the frontline


  • Continuous development and optimization of pricing processes, models, frameworks and tools
  • Drive the use of and support implementation of digital tools
  • Development and governance of contracting and quoting policies, with the focus on improving customer experience and simplification
Who we are looking for
We require fluency in oral and written English, and proven experience with the following:

  • Analysis and data driven decision making
  • Ability to make the complex simple at the time of execution
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong commercial mindset
  • Stakeholder management and ability to work across levels and geographies
  • Teamwork-oriented and able to work with a virtual team

Additional skills, which are preferred:

  • Insight into the Liner Shipping industry and trade management
  • Theoretical knowledge of revenue management mechanisms
  • In-depth understanding of marketing, specifically competitor and market segmentation analysis
  • Proven track record of data analysis using Excel
