Maersk Oil Kazakhstan is looking for Procurement Supervisor (Temporary) to be based in Aktau, Kazakhstan 5/2. The position is only for Kazakhstan citizens.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support the Group’s day-to-day operations and ensure full compliance with both Corporate Procurement Standard and Local Procurement Procedure
  • Initiate Supply Chain integration; ensure the cross functional coordination of processes and activities with and across the technical departments and Purchasing Group.
  • Drive the Group performance, and ensure full compliance with and understanding of MOK business processуы and SAP ERP system.
  • Stay up to date with the workflow processing of purchase orders in the Purchasing Group, including the risks and problems arising from the workflow in the purchase order system
  • Observe, and comply all MOK safety rules and regulations.
  • Ensure the continuous training and development of the employees in Purchasing Group.
  • Network with and create bridges to the global and local stakeholders: requisitioning departments, quality control, warehousing, logistics, legal, support functions and vendors.
  • Actively engage and motivate direct reports by creating an engaging and motivating working environment to maximize overall efficiency and effectiveness of the Group.
  • Drive and delegate the establishment of a performance management culture through clear objective setting, continuous constructive feedback and active development plans.
  • Allocate workload and delegate responsibility based on expertise and resource availability within the team and estimate future staffing requirements.
  • Drive and ensure cost awareness and minimize Maersk Oil expenditure as much as possible.
  • Ensure satisfactory knowledge of all procedures of procurement including, but not limited to the tender procedures, standard procurement business processes and also internal requisitioning departments’ requirements (quantity & quality specifications and timeframes) for smooth execution.
  • Streamline, standardize work processes and ensure documentation and implementation of the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Group on a continual basis.
  • Develop tools and monitor implementation to assess internal performance.
  • Maintain industry contacts and be aware of industry developments/activities & opportunities in order to identify understand and apply industry best practice.
  • Foster a culture of continuous process improvement
Who we are looking for
A successful candidate should have Higher education and work experience by profession no less than 5 years;
