Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for leading your team and yourself in a safe manner.

This includes being responsible for the safe operation of Cyberbase system, drawworks, pipe handling systems, mud circulating systems and BOP equipment in accordance with the requirements specified in the operating procedures.

You will work closely together with the Senior Toolpusher or Tourpusher and be responsible for informing any deviation from the drilling programme.

As a Driller, you will also be responsible for communicating the Well and Drill Floor status to all relevant Departments.
Who we are looking for
Preferable, you have around 7 years experience in all phases of onsite drilling operations.

You have previous experience as Driller on 5-6th generation Deepwater DP Drilling Units.

You have good knowledge of mathematics (passed Driller’s Qualification course 1 & 2 or a similar level).

You are conversant with safety management principles and with computer based control systems.

Of required certificates, you must have:
Well Control certificate issued by an institution approved by the IWCF.
Well Control Certificate at Supervisory level. Combined Surface & Subsea BOP Stack.
Safety Training Courses and Medical Certificate in accordance with the requirements stipulated for regular crew by the Continental Shelf Authority for the current operating area.

Promotion opportunities exist to Tourpusher and ultimately Drilling Section Leader.
