We Offer
BI & Analytics Product Manager with experience in leveraging data to drive business
transformation and business outcomes. This person will help grow our business, optimize our
execution and build a data-driven culture by owning, shaping and evolving BI/Analytics/Data
product(s). By leveraging a strong business acumen coupled with knowledge of business
intelligence and analytics as capabilities and the possible applications of these, this person will
turn data to business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
• Drive problem and product discovery to build an impactful roadmap
• Drive hypothesis creation, validation and identify tangible business outcomes by
solving problems
• Create and validate prototypes using Balsamiq or other similar tools
• Create a product vision and articulate key value proposition(s)
• Assume accountability for value creation by defined BI/data product(s) within one or
more subject areas
• Deliver business outcomes by partnering with outcome owners and process owners to
orchestrate the value capturing phases of the product build
• Oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of specific BI/Analytics product
• Create quarterly OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) to drive prioritization
• Leverage statistical insights on end-users to drive product adoption and improvement
• Work collaboratively with other PO’s and technical teams to ensure that development is
being done in a complimentary fashion
• Own and define scope, priorities, requirements, and approach for BI/Analytics products
and communicate plans to relevant stakeholders
• Backlog management (Epics, User Stories, prioritization etc.)
• Ensuring that the Product Backlog is visible, transparent, and clear to all
• Ensuring the Scrum Team understands items in the Product Backlog to the level
• Proactively engage with end-users and stakeholder to innovate and identify new ways
of improving processes and create value from data and analytics-driven products, and
act as escalation point to manage and resolve disputes or conflicts
• Conduct product reviews to evaluate progress and outcomes based on KPIs
• Guide and coach other PO colleagues on product management techniques
• Leverage various communication channels (Yammer, Slack etc.) to drive product
awareness, update on new releases etc.
Who we are looking for
Technical Skills:
• BI/Analytics: Knowledge of the capabilities of BI tools (Power BI, Tableau etc.)
• Visualisation: Knowledge of principles/best practice of data visualization
• Agile: Solid experience in Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps etc.
• Product Mgmt.: Experience with Balsamiq, or other similar tools
• BI/Analytics: Knowledge of conceptual data structures (DWH, Data Lake, Marts etc.)
• Presentation skills: Good skills on how to simplify complex stories through presentations
and visualisations
• Presentation skills: Whiteboarding skills
• Office Apps: Solid experience with PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Sway, Teams, Yammer etc.
Business/Functional Skills:
• Strong general business acumen (preferably from commercial teams)
• Experience from scaling/growing a business
• Excellent communications skills (leadership, stakeholders, team etc.)
• Planning skills (create & articulate product plans)
• Collaboration skills
• Ability to navigate a large global organization
• Excellent Written and Verbal skills with people at all levels across the organisation in
Relevant experience/Background:
• Post graduate degree in Business or related field
• Experience from mature product organization
• Well-versed in BI/Analytics delivery
• Experience in navigating large enterprises is a plus
• Technology Product Management experience (or “CEO of product” PO experience)
