Senior Mainline Network Manager
|We are looking for a Senior Mainline Network Manager, to join the Network team in Copenhagen. If you would like to be able to make a difference visible on the company profit and loss, then we need you to join our team, so we can design the most optimal Network for Sealand Europe & Med together.|

Further you will get a strong cross-functional network not only in Sealand Europe & Med, but also in Maersk Line and external partners through the multiple projects and negotiations.
You will be exposed to the full organization, working with more or less all HQ functions and front line on different levels, and have direct impact on the company results, by ensuring we always have the lowest cost possible.
You will get the opportunity to own and see projects through to the end, including presenting business cases to the Management team for sign-off.
|In your role as Senior Mainline Network Manager you will be responsible for a geographical scope, ensuring that we have the most cost efficient and competitive network to the benefit our customers.|
You will be owner of both long and short term optimsation projects enabling the lowest possible unit cost across the network and see these projects through to sign-off and implementation with different HQ and front line departments.
You will be responsible for both the daily and strategic vessel deployment of the geographical network, by ensuring alignment between forecasted flows and capacity available, including chartering vessels through our internal chartering department.
You will take part in the quarterly forecasting process with finance, updating the cost for the network ensuring visibility to the management team.
You will assist the Head of Network in negotiations with external partners.
The success criteria for this position, is having assisted the company to optimize the current network into a cheaper network, by looking at the overall unit cost and thinking out of the box and continuously challenge status quo.
|Who we are looking for|
|You come with several years of experience from preferably another role in a Network team or Operations/Trade function and have very good analytical skills, advanced usage of excel is an advantage.|
You are a person that thrives in an high paced performance environment, where we are always looking for the next possibility of optimizing the current status quo, despite being highly impacted by events outside own control.
Further to this, you should be able to go in/out of detail level, and always keep a holistic view on the many moving pieces of the network.
You are a great teamplayer, but just as important, can work independently and can drive projects with multiple stakeholdes on many levels through to completion.
You are capable of managing multiple stakeholders on different levels by having a best in class communication to the people around you.
