DevOps Test and Automation Engineer for Industrial IT

|Industrial IT focuses on projects that deal directly with our assets, like vessels or containers. We run the IT on the vessels and we are responsible for the industry’s biggest IoT installation, the RCM solution with about 300.000 connected reefer containers. |
We are a new team within Maersk IT with the task of developing the asset related IT. We are now in the process of expanding our capabilities regarding Internet of Things (IoT), satellite communication, industrial control systems, etc. We offer in this context a role to incorporate DevOps technologies into a less dynamic industrial area.
•Be part of a large-scale system implementations, like building a new IT platform for our ocean vessel fleet, the worldwide biggest container shipping fleet.
•Get to interact with leading IT vendors, internal subject matter experts, and internal and external IT professionals.

•As part of the Industrial IT team will you get the chance to participate in several projects and be a key player regarding implement the “DevOps Way” in Maersk IT. Industrial IT focuses on projects that deal directly with our assets, like vessels or containers.
The preferred location for this position is Copenhagen, however depending on the candidate’s current location, Aarhus can be considered. You can expect occasional travel between these locations, up to one week per month. Further details about location can be discussed at the interview.

|•Acts as subject matter expert regarding DevOps methods, tools and processes. Is a source of knowledge, technique and expertise.|
•Evaluate and chose appropriate methods, processes and tool chains based on project needs, e.g. regarding test automation, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment,
•Trains, mentors and advises Industrial IT on the use of DevOps.
•Take role in installing, configuring, troubleshooting, testing and documenting large-scale IoT implementations.
|Who we are looking for|
|•Gained +3 years of experience in choosing, deploying and maintaining DevOps solutions.|
•Stakeholder management skills.
•Strong process oriented approach to work and excellent attention to detail.
•Resilient team player who is goal-orientated and demonstrates a high level of commitment with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
•Excellent Written and Verbal skills with people at all levels across the organisation in English.
•Focused on quality
In addition to above the suitable candidate has ideally:
•Experience in the marine industry
•Degree in Computer Science
