Furthermore, you will take part in an innovative organisation and get to understand the oil and gas industry. Compared to the traditional technology scope of Maersk Oil, the Finance Strategy introduces a stronger focus on drilling and production facilities cost governance.
You will become a member of the Danish Business Unit (DBU), Finance department, where you will get the opportunity to shape and develop a central role with great influence in supporting business decisions through accurate cost, reporting and forecasting. This is with the possibility to continuously learn and develop your competencies. You will get to use your knowledge and experience applying a range of techniques for developing finance processes and reporting while driving continuous improvement implementing new global standards in DBU.
|You will have a key role in cost controlling. This means that you have the responsibility of constant cost controlling ensuring reflection of costs through standardized processes and meaningful reporting that supports decision making. You will also be the supporting timely preparation of Rolling Forecast and budget. Finally, you will overall provide insightful analysis and commentary to the organization. |
Your other responsibilities and tasks;
• Verification of actual and assessment of necessary accruals
• Financial review meetings with line managers
• Variance analysis to budget and latest forecast
• Securing compliance to financial guidelines
• Developing tools and align with the rest of the controller team

Your other qualifications include:
• Master’s degree/bachelor or HD in accounting, finance, business etc.
• Experience in IT finance & accounting
• Skills in MS Office (Excell, Power point & Word) and SAP
