Maersk Oil Kazakhstan is looking for Planning Specialist to be based in Aktau, Kazakhstan 5/2.

Key Responsibilities
Proactive involvement in planning and control of projects throughout their lifecycle following the Maersk Stage-Gate process.
Daily interface with project engineers and contractors to maintain detailed schedules for all project activities in Primavera.
Assist in continuous improvement of the overall project planning system in the project department including input to Integration Activity Planning (IAP)
Develop overall project schedule for the whole scope of work.
Monitor schedules and highlight discrepancies in relation to delays and ensure plans are tracked and reported.
Support the contracts and procurement department in fulfilling activities for timely service and material delivery.
Verify that contractors schedule, planning systems and resources are appropriate for the requirements.
Prepare weekly and monthly project reports.
Perform schedule analysis and advice on discrepancies.
Assist in preparation of presentation materials.
Maintain and adapt the progress measurement system as part of the schedule updates.
Who we are looking for
A successful candidate should have higher professional or secondary technical education with work experience not less than 5 years;
MSOffice and Primavera are obligatory
English Language (Upper- Intermediate level)
Good communication skills
SAP knowledge an advantage but not required
Readiness to go to site and assess physical progress with support of project engineers
Knowledge of physical progress measurement and quantity survey is an advantage.
