The Tender and Contract Management (TCM) team is highly specialized in handling large scale tenders for all the Maersk Liner Business brands, enabling the client owners to focus their resources on building value propositions, negotiation strategies and optimize their sales activities. TCM serves the global sales force and TNM with standardized and centralized processes and we are looking for someone to help us build these same capacities and processes for our newly established Sealand brand, while at the same time being a part of the TCM leadership team and help us improve on our overall setup and offerings.

Key Responsibilities
Price Tenders
o Ensure timely, complete and 100% accuracy quoting for assigned tenders
o Perform analytical support on tenders in terms of industries, trades and customers
o Ensure compliance with company policies, strategies, guidelines and authority levels
o Optimise the quoting done for Tenders in order to optimise the yields/profits of same
o Get deep knowledge of products under regional scope
o Perform audits of own and others work
Meet team objectives
o Make independent analysis and pricing suggestions
o 100% Timeliness
o 99% Accuracy
o 4.5 account owner satisfaction
o 4.0 product owner satisfaction
o Reduce pricing errors and optimize pricing approach
Product Owner Coordination
o Stakeholder management, deal with issues effectively
o Ensure weekly tender updates including relevant information are given to product owners
o Manage team site
Process Management
o Improve current process
o Create and maintain process SOPs
o Adhere to mandatory process steps
o Coordinate with SAL/CENTNM
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the achievement of individual and team KPIs
Do process improvements and measurements
Quote tenders efficiently and accurately while considering commercial and strategic drivers
Manage stakeholders in product management
Build product and customer knowledge
Who we are looking for
Position Specifications:
Minimum bachelor degree, preferably economics / shipping / business administration / SCM
Commercial shipping background is an advantage
Tender or pricing experience from other industries/companies is an advantage
Expected Capabilities:
Strong commercial, market & customer understanding
Stakeholder management - Collaborating successfully across functions
Proactive and creative
Strong sense of urgency and result orientation
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (verbal, written and presentation)
Technical Skills:
MS Office
MARS – data retrieval
MEPC (product retrieval) – expert understanding of cost elements and yields / margins
BART / RKMS2 reports
