Seago Line Netherlands is looking for a passionate and dynamic Customer Service Supervisor to join the North Continent Cluster team.
The company is now an established organization with a name in the market that stands for good services and passionate employees, the new Customer Service Supervisor will play a key role in maintaining the good performance, positive team atmosphere and further developing the Customer Service Team as well as influencing the overall Customer Service Strategy of Seago Line
We Offer
The Customer Service Supervisor will be responsible for both Netherlands and Switzerland, and for import and export processes. The organization is focused on the commercial operation, works very closely with the sales team, and requires members of customer service to have a good commercial understanding together with a strong process ownership
He/she will report directly to the NCC Cluster Customer Service Manager and will work together with our Head Quarter, Customer Service community, shared service centre community and the Cluster Process Improvement Partner: his/her voice will be heard and can make the difference!
Key Responsibilities
• To lead and coach the team on day to day business
• To guide the team through the Elevate strategy and Simplification project
• To maintain a close dialogue with the sales organization and enable strong volume performances
• To regularly monitor team performance and address or escalate shortfalls
• To ensure that shipments and customer requests are being handled timely and with constant care
• To drive ownership and proactivity
• To constantly address and eliminate waste and rework: helping effective prioritization
• To maintain an excellent relationship with the colleagues in our shared service centre through ongoing dialogue and continuous improvement initiatives
• To work closely with the cluster Process Improvement Partner, cluster Customer Service Manager and peers to define and drive the customer service strategy of Seago Line
• To provide for and maintain good team atmosphere
• Internal / External stakeholder management
Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate will be a person who has strong customer understanding. An individual that focusses on constant improvements and has a flexible mindset.

Key competences/skills
• Team leadership
• Preferably strong system skills of internal systems (GCSS, RKEM, MEPC…)
• Cross-functional E2E perspective and commercial mindset
• Good knowledge about transport plans, sop’s, internal processes and shipping
• Competent and professional writing skills and phone behaviour
• Commercial understanding – or desire to further develop commercial skills
• Can-do attitude
• Ability to change in order to optimize
• Claim knowledge to prevent / handle claims
• Documentation knowledge
• Fluent in English and Dutch (German language preferred as well)
