The Culzean project is one of the UK North Sea’s most exciting. With the potential to deliver around 5% of the UK’s energy needs, this complex uHPHT field is one of the largest discoveries in the UK North Sea in recent years.

We’re recruiting for an FSO OIM to join the Culzean team to provide operational input to the FSO design process and be involved in FSO Marine and Operations activities to develop the infrastructure, management systems, and contract services necessary to achieve the successful start-up and operation of the Culzean facilities.

Key Responsibilities
The FSO OIM will provide consistent Marine and Operations and oversee the delivery of an FSO which can be operated effectively and efficiently.

You will be required to work at the contractor’s office on a rotation basis providing operational input to the FSO’s detailed design. There will also be a requirement to travel to the construction site, as required providing operational input during the construction phase.

The position will latterly move offshore to support HUC and go on to accept handover of “ownership of responsibility” for the FSO facilities at production start-up and support subsequent operations.

This role will particularly focus on ensuring that Culzean can safely deliver a high performance with a high production efficiency via the provision of a highly condensate export route and offload facilities on the FSO.

Who we are looking for
We are looking for an OIM/BM with significant offshore experience of FPSO/FSO marine operations. You will have previous involvement in major design/HUC projects and hold a STWC Reg II/2 (Chief Mate) Qualification.

This position requires a driven and ambitious team player who has excellent communication skills, with the ability to plan, organise, coordinate, and control/monitor work across a range of disciplines.

Tanker Endorsement (Oil); condensate experience would be advantageous.
