Maersk Drilling is seeking two MRP Coordinators for the Singapore office.
We Offer
To join the Maintenance & Materials Management group which supports the worldwide fleet of offshore drilling units in maintenance and materials matters. We are currently undergoing an ERP system transfer from SAP to IFS and have in the same instance decided to strengthen our inventory control organisation and processes.

We will establish industry best practise solutions for Material Requirement Planning, and the position offers a great opportunity to participate implementation and a process excellence learning opportunity as well.

You will be part of the new Materials and Master Data group with an estimated head count of ten.

Key Responsibilities
Material requirement planning is vital for process excellence within maintenance execution.

Your prime responsibilities will be:

• Optimize inventory levels ensuring material availability while minimising related costs
• Monitory material availability and audit inventory settings and levels
• Advise and support offshore logistics coordinators on proper use of MRP
Who we are looking for
Candidates with previous experience from materials requirement planning from the upstream oil or drilling industry or from other asset heavy industries.

Candidates with advanced mathematical abilities – especially in probability and statistics.

Professional level skills with spreadsheet and database software (e.g. Access).

Experience or knowledge of ERP (IFS and/or SAP).

With a degree in logistics, supply chain management, industrial engineering or similar.

You are proactive and strive to take on responsibility. You are service minded and understand the role and responsibilities as a supporter of a 24/7/365 high capital international operation within a closely regulated industry.

Company and industry language is English; applicants are expected to possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
