We are offering a challenging sales position. The Sales Coordinator is responsible for coordinating with Sales Representatives in delivering volume and revenue target in their shared client portfolio. This is done by establishing and maintaining a good relationship with customers through regular sales contacts, both face to face and via phone calls.This position works closely with various internal (trade managers in the headquarters, customer service, operation department, global service centre) and external stakeholders (customers, freight forwarders, ports, etc.) on global basis, therefore offers wide range of knowledge, experience and is a perfect first step to a successful career development.

Key Responsibilities
Be an active participant in implementing our sales plan
• To coordinate the shared customer portfolio together with the External Sales Executive to deliver volume and revenue target
• Manage the selling process to the customers in the portfolio including building a business case, contract negotiations and filing
• Pro-active renewal of rates & space commitments filings, free-time deals as well as credit agreements
• Inform customers on business relevant market developments and changes and proactively gain accurate market information from your customers for internal feedback
• Quick and correct responses to customer rate inquiries supported by our shared service centre
• Quick turnaround of invoice disputes and take responsibility for invoice pre-checks to meet the IQ standards
• Effective escalation of service issues and actively engage internal
stakeholders (customer service, operations, finance, Management team) to resolve these issues and increase customer satisfaction
• Active sales pipeline management: log, follow up and close opportunities accurately; nurture medium and long term opportunities in the pipeline; follow up on sales leads and product campaigns
• Push for volume and revenue delivery as per agreement
• To identify new opportunities through ongoing customer dialogue

Who we are looking for
• HBO/adequate level degree, preferably in relevant disciplines
• Sales experience (min 1-2 year) and/or logistic sales as plus point
• Excellent command of written and spoken Dutch and English
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, energetic, enthusiastic and dedicated personality
• Is a team player, extravert and driven to win together with a sense of urgency
• Is flexible while remain accurate under stressful situations
• Self-starter, focus, active, customer driven, team player
• Understanding the needs of the business and of the customers
• Result-oriented with strong planning and organizational skills
• Able to work under pressure in fast-paced, dynamic, international environment
• Good command of Microsoft Office applications and able to navigate in CRM system
