|Maersk Oil Kazakhstan is looking for Asset Manager to be based in Dunga Field, Aktau city, Kazakhstan 5/2.|
|Maersk Oil Kazakhstan GmbH (MOK) holds a 60% interest and operatorship of the Dunga field with partners Partex Oil and Gas and Oman Oil Overseas holding a 20% interest each. The 281 square km onshore block is located some 50 km north of Aktau in western Kazakhstan. It is operated under a Production Sharing Agreement signed in 1994;|
You will be responsible for all activities in the asset, including business development, well, facility and reservoir management and production optimisation processes, maximising value while being fully HSE compliant.
|Establish an operational plan for the development and operation of the asset;|
Engage in ambitious target setting for the asset;
Enable proper tracking of asset performance in accordance with the Maersk Oil performance management framework;
Drive end-to-end asset performance ensuring maximized and safe value creation from the asset in collaboration with local Discipline Area Heads, through the global Asset Management Process;
Ensure integration of operational activities, linking discipline area capabilities and resolving issues between onshore teams;
Coordinate and prioritise activities from technical and commercial point of view, balancing the short and the long term view;
Ensure a sound and company consistent operating rhythm in the asset to enable effective management, transparency and performance
Execute and manage tendering process for asset operations contractors in close collaboration with Procurement;
Chair daily Operations Management meetings;
Identify capacity and capability needs for the asset in close coordination with local Discipline Area Heads and Discipline Chiefs
Ensure, through the local Business and Resource Planning processes, the availably of appropriate capabilities for the Asset to meets its targets;
Support continuous capability development for staff working in the asset, in close collaboration with Discipline Area Heads and the relevant Chiefs;
Support the drive for localization;
Define and drive the formulation of a field strategy for the asset
Provide asset related input to the yearly Business Planning Process for the BU;
Own and prioritise the asset opportunity portfolio;
Identify and communicate the need for technical service provision for the asset;
Sanction projects within the asset;
CAPEX and OPEX allocation within the asset;
Contribute to maintaining a strong incident free culture within MOK by role modelling safety behaviors and taking corrective action wherever necessary;
Ensure a top quartile asset safety performance by diligently driving the principles of Incident-Free and Process Safety in the asset.
|Who we are looking for|
|A successful candidate should have a degree (or direct equivalent, or relevant industry experience) in Engineering or other technical discipline qualification;|
Minimum 15 years’ experience in the oil / gas exploration and / or production industries in a similar role preferred. Experience of strategic management and planning in an operator environment
Proven leadership experience and of managing large multi-cultural teams;
Proven skills in planning integrated activities / work streams / projects of significant scope and complexity;
Proven experience of change management and introducing improvements to processes and ways of working.
