This is a great opportunity for an experienced Organisational Effectiveness professional to set and lead the global OE agenda for our company. You will be responsible for developing and executing the OE strategy across the business and strengthening our OE capabilities further.
|Reporting directly to the VP of Human Resources you will be responsible for developing and implementing the organisational effectiveness strategy in Maersk Oil, supporting the broader HR and business strategy. |
You will be a member of the senior HR Leadership team, supporting the implementation of the overall HR strategy in Maersk Oil whilst translating the business/HR strategy and goals into clear, specific and achievable objectives - making the strategy tangible for individual teams in OE and the broader HR community. As the Head of OE you will be an essential part of driving the wider Maersk Group HR agenda.
You will lead a team of 10 highly motivated and competent OE specialists; initiating, supporting and facilitating initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness in Maersk Oil. The team consists of three different functional areas; Workforce Planning & HR Analytics, HR Processes & Systems and Organisational Design.

|Your key responsibilities will be to lead and develop the OE team to deliver within the Maersk Oil business and HR strategy. Some of your key priorities will be to:|
• Leverage existing analytic tools and HR metrics to support effective organisational decision making
• Lead large cross functional HR projects and innovations within Maersk Oil
• Provide leadership and expert advice to global HR partners & senior leadership team on matters of organisational effectiveness, e.g. organisational design and health, HR analytics, workforce planning and other relevant areas
• Develop people - coaching and mentoring to build capability, talent and strength in the organisational effectiveness function.
Furthermore, you will be expected to support the HR due diligence of potential acquisitions and to manage and facilitate effective relationships among the global HR function and business units.
|Who we are looking for|
|You hold a relevant MSc degree and have several years’ of experience from a similar position in a major global organisation or management consultancy, where you have demonstrated success in an organisational development/effectiveness role.|
You have proven that you are a strong team lead, who knows how to motivate and develop your employees.
As you will lead large cross functional HR projects and innovations across Maersk Oil, you should be able to point to a strong track record of project/programme management with the ability to handle several projects at the same time maintaining focus, managing pace and ensuring results delivery.
You have a strong level of general business acumen with the ability to understand and articulate the needs of the business in an HR context.
You have strong influencing skills and build rapport easily, in the HR community and in the business. You feel comfortable in fast-changing environments and have the ability to take risks and to consider new and untested approaches.
