|Maersk Drilling Norge AS was established in 1990 and employs a staff of approximately 1300 people. Maersk Drilling Norge AS currently operates 9 ultra harsh environment jack-up drilling rigs in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea.|
|Maersk Drilling is operating a fleet of Ultra Harsh Environment Jack-Up rigs in Norway. We will have an additional high spec rig delivered from Daewoo in Korea in 2016. All our rigs are contracted for the Norwegian market and comply with Norwegian requirements.|

We are now looking for a Rig Manager to join our rig team in Stavanger.
|Supervision of the activities of Maersk Drilling related to the operations of the unit.|
For the particular rig, which the Rig Manager is assigned supervision of, ensure that all operations and work tasks are carried out in a safe, efficient, technical and financial manner and in accordance with the expectation from MD. Further, monitor the daily activities to optimize procedures, systems and equipment in order to improve the overall safety and efficiency.
Protect the interest of MD, ensure that all activities are conducted in a proper manner and in accordance with national and international acts and regulations, MD’s obligations to their clients, MD’s policies, and labor union agreements.
Strive for a first class relationship with the clients in order to obtain safe and efficient operations based on sound oilfield, economic, and business principles.
Provide for and contribute to the development of leadership capabilities among senior rig personnel.
It is the responsibility of the Rig Manager that the unit fulfills the requirement of the contract.
Responsible for administering all aspects of the Capital Budget to ensure full and timely compliance with corporate requirements.
|Who we are looking for|
|Satisfies the requirements of the board of Maersk Drilling|
Minimum 4 years experience in management positions within the oil exploration industry.
Proficient in business administration and commercial activities. Good knowledge of mathematics, computer literate, with good verbal and written communication skills.
Conversant in Safety, Quality and Environmental Management principles.
Medical Certificate and safety training applicable to non-regular crew for travelling to the offshore unit in the operating area.
