The role of the Senior Operations Readiness Engineer is to participate in developing and assure Operational Readiness for the Asset and for major Projects such as FDP’s.
Ensure a high level of operational contribution to FDP objectives, from the start of FEED to final-close-out.
Ensure proactive engagement with all operating departments and liaison with and between them.

Key Responsibilities

•Knowledge in projects (from FEED to final-close-out). MOQ uses the PMP approach, where production and operational deliverables are defined and expected to be delivered.The Senior Operations Engineer shall ensure all aspects of the operations is considered and be very proactive, he/she needs to be aware of the operation requirements in all stage of the PMP
•Be a proactive member of the liaison/FDP team, supporting deliverables and contributing to the success of the project(s) with knowledge and quality assurance attributes to strengthen the outcome.
•Strong contributor in all aspects of operations.
•Consultation with PED, Drilling, Well Services, Marine, Engineering, I&R, Construction and Production Operation departments, to ensure all aspects of the operation is considered and embedded in the FDP Project(s).
•Support the collaborative working environment and ensure all operational aspects, such as WRFM, I&R, production, well services, drilling and CWE, is evaluated and embedded into the philosophies/strategies.
•Contribute to a strong safety culture within MOQ Business Unit.
Ensure HSSEQ is agreed, clear and transparent in the developed documents, both during project ad life of field aspects.
Who we are looking for
Candidate with
•Bachelor degree (or relevant industry experience) in Engineering preferred, or discipline specific qualification.
•An appropriate engineering discipline, with a minimum of 15 years related industry experience.
•Min 10 yrs. experience in Offshore Oil & Gas (both onshore and offshore) Facilities production, construction, maintenance and commissioning with a good understanding of technical integrity management systems, project management systems, quality and technical assurance systems, change management, waiver/query management.
•A wide knowledge in how to engage and ensure PED, wells service, drilling, production, I&R, marine, production and operations interlink as a joint operational unit.
•Self-motivated. Accustomed to being in positions of responsibility and accountability with good planning and communication skills.
•Must have excellent teamwork skills being able to work with the various sub-teams in order to resolve issues and reach decisions that are in the best interest of delivering the next Field Development Plan.
•An excellent understanding of project engineering and project processes.
•Highly competent interpersonal and influencing skills to tactfully and diplomatically manage ambiguity, conflict and uncertainty in a culturally diverse environment.
•High awareness of safe working practices associated with design, construction, pre-commissioning, installation, hook-up and commissioning of oil & gas facilities.
•Excellent communication skills.

Candidate shouls also have
•Fluency in written and spoken English.
•Result driven approach and attitude.
•Knowledge in use of spread sheets, database, word processing (MS Office) and selected job specific software.
•Ability to organize work load and to manage a filing methods and management techniques.
•Effective planning and organizational skills, with the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and recall. An understanding of the organisations business matters is crucial in order to be able to identify and control documentation effectively.
•Operational experience (10 years+) in process and 100+ well operations.
•Project liaison experience.
•Knowledge in WRFM, I&R and CWE activities.
