Maersk Oil Qatar is currently developing and expanding the facilities in the Al Shaheen Field offshore Qatar. The Qatari Development Programme (QDP) is a two year programme designed specifically for recent University graduates to help them make the transition from the academic environment to the professional workplace. Some focus areas of this programme are learning about yourself & others, building relationships with colleagues and managers, organizing and prioritizing tasks and workload, as well as project management. This includes various methods such as workshops, Action Learning Sets, on the job learning, and group work.

Key Responsibilities
1.Environmental Awareness:Understand the management of MOQ’s impact on the environment, including compliances and aspects.
Coordinating and assist on training, preparing awareness material such as posters, presentations and environmental fair input to HSSE Program and Sustainability

2.Environmental Reporting:Collecting data from departments, Contribute in preparation of emission reports to regulatory authorities, spill reports, statistics to corporate/CPH, etc.

3.Environmental Audits:Participate in audits as part of the Environmental Management System and Audit Programme

4.Environmental projects:Support in the coordination and review of environmental projects, studies, surveys

Who we are looking for
  • A Qatari National with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences or related Engineering Disciplines.
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate projects. Fluency in English. Proficiency in MS Office. Offshore experience preferred.
