|Identify and secure business to meet and exceed the revenue, volume and contribution margin targets set for the business unit|
Establish and maintain a structured approach to securing business, e.g. through a sales pipeline, transparent pricing policy and sales tariffs
Develop and maintain intimate, yet professional, relationship with customers and decision makers of cargo movements, both in-house and 3rd party
Regularly review the competitive scenario in the local market and identify new business opportunities and areas having future growth potential
Build business analytics through intereaction with customer, available data and market dynamics
Inventory management for all the customer and warehouses including Storage of goods, optimizing proper space with all logistics support and transportation.
Management reporting and analysis with Stock check on a regular basis.
Inventory is maintained & kept in a proper manner with Category wise
All the queries /complaints from the customer are sorted out in a short period of time
A close coorination is kept with the operation staff to avoid the wastage of time and work is not affected.Preparation and submission of stock reports
In Warehouse Management Plans warehouse layout, space pallet allocation & storage optimization.
Train & develop team & keep them updated with changes/additions in procedures & norms
Manage order fulfilment process from order taking through delivery with close Co-ordination from operation team for inbound & outbound activities
Negotiate with suppliers, partners & internal customer for service.
Understand & ensure implementation of Customer Operating Procedures
Ensure stock accuracy & monitor stock regularly
Ensure compliance with stacking norms & storage orientations
Ensure compliance with Indian Laws & regulations governing operations in a warehouse and Ensure safety & security of people & materials
Identify, develop and improve commercial business processes, including systems and SOPs, which enable the business unit to be a market leader on service delivery and customer satisfaction
Coordinate and assist with development of non-commercial business processes to ensure seamless transition between functions. This include coordination with external stakeholders
Compliance with both external regulations and internal values, standards, policies and procedures
Participate in global, regional and local CIS initiatives and special projects as might be required from time to time.
Assist, as required, in all aspects of project implementation
Take active part in promoting a strong HSSE working environment
Work with commercial team towards developing a high performing team, in coordination with the AGM Sales/Business Unit
Attend external seminars on sales, trade shows and share knowledge on ways to improve sales/customer experience
|Who we are looking for|
MBA in Marketing & Sales/General Management with good hands-on experience in Inventory & Warehouse Management
Commercial Mindset & Understanding of the national & local market in Mumbai/ West India
Analytical Ability & Financial mindset
Business Acumen & Strong understanding of CFS Operations
Sound Knowledge of Mumbai/ West India's EXIM business
Contacts with who is who of EXIM , fluent with shipping/logistics/CFS business
Self-motivated, creative and result orientated
Good communication, negotiation and networking skills
Ability to both work with strategic/tactical issues as well as execute operational tasks
Market insight and network
Fluency in written /verbal English
