The Group’s Country Tax Centres (CTC) worldwide work in dynamic environments and value add through a centralised tax function that deliver business partnering services to local business units, ensuring optimization of tax incentives and establishing a coordinated
response to tax authority enquiries. Given the significant business presence in Singapore, a CTC has been set up for strategic benefits and operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Indirect tax leader for the region with focus on Singapore, reporting to the Head of Tax for Singapore Tax Centre
  • Review quarterly Singapore GST returns
  • Respond to tax authorities’ queries and/or manage tax audits as they arise in the region
  • Provide advice to and support business units and project teams
  • Initiate and implement indirect tax internal controls
  • Identify tax opportunities/risks and mitigate tax risks
  • Provide training to business units
Who we are looking for
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 8 – 10 years of Singapore GST experience, good knowledge of shipping taxation will be an added advantage
  • Candidates working in Singapore Big 4 accounting firms are welcome to apply
  • Candidates working in corporations should preferably have Big 4 accounting firm managerial experience in GST
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Independent, organised and efficient individual
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
