Coordination of construction activities and to support offshore construction.

Accordingly you are empowered and obliged to highlight / report any Safety or Environmental deficiencies which may occur in the execution of the work carried out by contractors, sub-contractors or vendors.
In the execution of your work you shall:-
Comply with applicable safety instructions and other company procedures, both onshore and offshore.
Ensure that in all matters safety, economical and technical assessments are made, due diligence is observed and initiative taken to secure the best economical results.
Bring forward suggestions for improvements in time and cost within the areas of responsibility.
Ensure work is carried out in a professional manner and in compliance with applicable contracts, company policies and relevant laws and regulations.
Ensure completion within time and budget of assigned projects and tasks.
Actively monitor work progress such that problem areas are identified, reported and solutions identified.
Undertake any other work and responsibilities as per instructed.
Your shall furthermore include the following:-
1.Be familiar with company design codes and standards (MOTS)
2.Onshore situated in MOQ office.
Liaise with Construction Supervisors on a day to day basis to discuss progress, planning and execution of work is as per plan.
Support offshore Construction Team as required to ensure the safe and efficient execution of construction activities.
Be available to travel offshore to conduct survey/reviews/visits as and when required.
Receive, review, log in and send all Technical Query’s to relevant Project Engineers and ensure a response within a reasonable time.
Assist the estimation team when required to develop job cards on Rev A work packs for offshore to comment
Ensure that the information in the Construction plan is relevant, accurate and achievable.
provide input into the IAP 90 and 28 plans
Ensure all SAP work orders are in the system and approved prior to offshore execution.
Review as-built updates based on completed job documentation
Forward on all MC packages to DOC Control after review.
Ensure all SAP work orders are closed upon return and review of MC packages from offshore.
Ensure timely delivery dates are met by fabricators for offshore execution.
Ensure that a close working relationship is maintained with Operations / I&R and Projects.
Review and comment on Engineering work packs and Maintenance scopes of work to ensure constructability and accurate timelines for offshore construction.
Participation in coordinators meetings with Construction lead and other coordinators.
Participation in project meetings from kick off through to construction readiness for offshore execution.
Assist materials group in ordering materials.
Forward materials to offshore for installation.
Be available to provide cover for other locations in the field during other coordinators vacation time.
Place Service Orders.


Who we are looking for
5 – 6 years of experience within the Oil and Gas industry.
Engineering education.
5 – 10 years’ experience as Offshore OCS in construction or equivalent
