The purpose of the role is to monitor local fabrication contractors’ implemented Quality Program during fabrication of piping spools and structures including verifying conformity during fabrication.

Key Responsibilities
Familiarisation with applicable Quality requirements i.e. Maersk Oil Technical Standards, relevant international codes/standards and all applicable internal procedures
Implement the existing Quality Control Inspection processes by means of following Company, Procedures, Guidelines and Templates (Inspection Records) to ensure a consistent approach to Inspection.
Review and be familiarize with the work scope
monitor contractors’ effective implementation of Quality Management System
Review, verify and endorse contractors’ applicable Quality Control documents in accordance with the requirements of Company Procedures and specifications
Carry out stage and final inspection during onshore fabrication to monitor conformity to MOTS and applicable requirements
Liaise with offshore Quality Control Inspectors if any QC related activity to be followed up during offshore installation
Liaise with Third Party Certifying Agency as and when required
Proactively pursue and report any quality related problems in connection with construction activities
Conduct and participate in Audits as and when assigned

Who we are looking for
At least College Degree or diploma in Mechanical /Metallurgical engineering or similar education
Recognized inspection qualifications in welding (CSWIP 3.1 /AWS-CWI), NDT(ASNT Level II/PCN Level II/Competence to Level II) and coating (BGAS-CSWIP Grade 2/NACE Level I) at least
Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in QA/QC during fabrication/construction of onshore and offshore Oil & Gas or similar projects
Proven knowledge and thorough understanding and experience in the Quality Assurance/Quality Control activities related to fabrication/construction of offshore projects (piping, pressure equipment and structures) that shall include:
Acquaintance to relevant international codes/standards
Inspection activities including, material inspection, dimension inspection review and evaluate Non-destructive Testing (RT, UT, MT, PT) results, witness pressure testing and verify QC documents in accordance with the applicable Inspection & Test Plan
Review of final QC dossier
Monitor that the contractor’s implementation of their Quality Management System
Issue, follow-up and close out Nonconformity Reports
Good knowledge on welding procedure/welder performance qualification, witness mechanical testing
Present reports, quality related data and recommendations
