|The role is joint for the F&P and Production Operations discipline areas, 1.e there is a common focal point for how to manager facilities quality, whether related to new projects or to maintenance of existing facilities. Facilities quality to be understood as the quality of hardware from component level to full module size. The quality of the underlying engineering and design belongs in the Technical Authority are.|
Lead the Facilities Quality management community in the BU, in collaboration with Discipline Area Heads (F&P and Production Operations) and Discipline chiefs
Ensuring high technical quality and value delivery across new and existing BU facilities, by development and application of quality management and control capabilities in coordination with Discipline area Heads for F&P and Production Operations, Project Mangers, Discipline Chiefs and Technical Authorities.

•Develop and roll out QA/QC procedures and guidelines
•Support compliance to and support application of facilities quality management standards and processes.
•Proactively coordinate quality management and control activities for facilities related activities on assets and projects. This comprises activities related to specification, procurement, fabrication, transportation, receipt, dispatch to location and installation in the plant of components as well as entire assemblies, modules etc. for new facilities as well as maintenance, repair and replacement of existing facilities.
•Support OPMP assurance activities across the BU for the Facilities Quality Discipline.
•Ensure appropriate non-PMP (e.g. Maintenance) assurance activities across the BU for the facilities quality management.
•Ensure that all Quality management and control activities are done with appropriate segregation of execution responsibilities.
•Ensure that BU resources are identified to support facilities quality management and control activities across BUS.
•Establish and develop a facilities quality management network in the BU
•Audit results testing compliance to processes owned by the discipline.
|Who we are looking for|
•University degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent education.
•Recognised QC inspection qualifications, e.g. CSWIP, AWS, ASNT, BGAS, NACE etc. or equivalent experience.
•Qualified QMS Lead Auditor.
•Minimum 15-20 years of experience in similar roles or related roles in the Oil and gas environment with at least 8-10 years in a lead/managerial role.
•Experience in QA/QC Inspection of large scale Oil & Gas projects, brownfield projects of running facilities and in service integrity.
•Experience in QMS audits
•Experience in or managing Third Party Certification (New Construction and In service verification) activities will be advantageous.
The candidate should also be skilled in these areas
•Proven significant knowledge of QA/QC Management in offshore oil and gas industry.
•Proven experience at managerial level.
•Proven Knowledge in Welding, NDT, Coating, fabrication, installation
•Strong acquaintance to relevant International codes and standards
•Ability to engage, influence and manage stakeholders at all levels.
•Ability to author QA/QC procedures
•Strong communication and collaboration skills
•Proficient in English – Written and spoken English
•Confident and capable of working in a multicultural environment
