Maersk Oil Qatar requires a Production Supervisor To supervise the daily production operations MOQ production facilities ensuring safe and efficient operation of all process systems, auxiliary equipment and safety systems environment in accordance with MOQ operating procedures, guidelines, legislative requirements and industry best practice.

Key Responsibilities
Health, Safety & Environment:

Drive an incident free environment through establishing and maintaining a strong safety culture.

Operational:

Ensure daily production, maintenance and construction activities are timely planned, coordinated and executed in a manner that ensures optimum safety and uptime and minimum environmental impact.

People Management:

Provide leadership and guidance to direct reports in the execution of their responsibilities; encourage innovative thinking around process safety and production optimization

Uphold and role-model MOQ's core values and leadership behaviors

Planning & Direction:

Contribute to defining and executing activity planning and setting performance targets for the offshore Organization

Collaborate with Maintenance Supervisor on maintenance activities In the event of failure or malfunction which requires shut down / isolation of equipment ensuring activities identified are entered in the shutdown database

Cost Optimization:

Ensure optimum utilization of company's resources in own section

Stakeholder Relations:

Actively participate in daily communication and coordination between off-and onshore businesses pertaining to key business matters and sharing of knowledge and experience

Represent MOQ vis-à-vis external stakeholders in areas of operational importance
Who we are looking for
We are looking for a candidate who has:
Fluency in both written and spoken English

Strong leadership skills in a multi¬cultural and highly technical specialized environment

Ability to design, set, and implement operational objectives

Result driven approach and attitude

Thorough understanding and application of industry process safety guidelines and procedures

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Process Engineering or Marine Engineer

Minimum 8 years' experience preferably In the petrochemical, refining, oil / gas exploration and/or production industries In a similar role with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
