You further will work with various entities within the Maersk Group as well as apply the latest tools and processes within Supply Chain and Category Management, this in close contact with experienced colleagues in Copenhagen, Manila, Mumbai and Singapore.

The position offers you an exciting leadership role of our Buyers based in Copenhagen as well as to collaborate with peers in other offices. You will report into the Head of Procurement of Maersk Tankers.

Key Responsibilities
• Refine and evolve the supply chain operating model

• Refine and evolve the demand, supply and inventory planning process to secure a balanced capacity and demand plan across the entire supply chain

• Lead, manage and engage the global team of supply chain buyers. Level out workload amongst buyers.

• Design and monitor a holistic set of KPI’s across supply chain

• Support the MT-leadership team with supply chain analysis which creates the basis for reduced cost and higher efficiency across the supply-chain

• Support the Category management team and the Procurement Framework team in designing and establishing business rules that increase transparency across the value chain.
Who we are looking for
A true team player for a global Supply Chain community.

You thrive in a fast changing and dynamic environment and are an experienced leader with strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as a good structure in your work. You enjoy taking pro-actively initiative and responsibility while having fun and building strong relationships across internal and external stakeholders in multiple continents.

Ideally you are holding a bachelor/master degree/diploma within supply chain management, engineering or similar and have had relevant working experience within operational procurement in the marine business.

Additionally, it will also be considered an advantage if you have experience with shipping, production, innovation or knowledge from the transportation industry.

Our employees represent a wide range of educational backgrounds, working experience and nationalities - but most important to us is your personal skills. Well-developed written and spoken English is a prerequisite.
