VAS Specialist

This position is responsible for end to end execution of trucking job and has to work in conjunction with operation associate, Customer service, Program Manager team & the CSC organisation as required. The incumbent is also responsible to create a work order and customer invoices in Kewill & ILSE (systems).

Key Responsibilities
Process Booking
• Register Trucking Booking details (Export / Import) in KEWILL & ILSE System
• Coordinate & arrange for Inland Transport for South
• Check relevant transport documents & the mode of payment to Transporter
• Engage with requester to clarify issues & verify fees due to be paid to Transporter
• Issue work order to the Trucking suppliers
• Receive delivery status from Transport provider & register it in Kewill & ILSE


Other Key Responsibility
• Drive VAS delivery targets for the entire region.
• Ensure and drive Data Quality in Documentation
• Maintain relations & conduct regular review meetings with Vendors.


Key Performance Indicator
• Turnaround time of the Vehicle availability
• Timely placement of the Vehicle
• Have capability to perform Project Vol without exception
• Sound Knowledge in Trucking and capable to Handling all type of vehicles based on customer requirements
• Good Trucking Vendor Base for South for all types of vehicles.
• Timely follow up for Vendor payments
• Update the Kewill milestones within 2 hrs of each activity
• Issue Work order within 3 hrs of booking receipt
Who we are looking for
Education:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business or related field.

Experience:
• Min 3 – 5 yrs experience in Trucking from the Logistics industry.

Language:
• The position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively in a diverse multicultural environment.

Computer:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and other technical software
• The ability to effectively use technology ( laptop, phone, etc.) to communicate and maintain productivity while travelling is required

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Organizational and time management
• Skills - multi-tasking and prioritizing, planning work activities efficiently to meet deadlines and high level goals.
