The position reports in to the Head of Strategic Account Management and will be based in Lyngby, Denmark or Houston, US.
|As Strategic Account Manager you will:|
•Be responsible for the strategic account nomination and segmentation, sanctioned by executive management team, hereunder articulation of selection, impact /value of account plans, and subsequent quarterly updates and reporting
•Overall responsible for the strategic customer’s activities and ultimate decision maker on interactions
•Owner and responsible of all interactions with the selected global accounts (portfolio) and orchestrating the engagements with the customer on all levels in the account and MD’s organisations within all stages of interaction (sale, tender, planning and operations, etc.)
•Assist local sales, operations or other functions in their daily interactions with the customers
•Responsible for deeply integrating with the strategic account understanding value and pain points acting as an executive and acting as trusted partner to our strategic by integrating resources across organizations
•Responsible for building and applying differentiated value proposition. Including developing test labs for long-term growth opportunities for MD
•Responsible for delivering and effectively tracking developments and benefits/value (USD) derived from such partnerships, through growth opportunities, overall value of account portfolio and top management stakeholder interaction

|We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Strategic Account Manager who is prepared to take on and own the success of their assigned account. |
The ideal candidate is characterized by being a tenacious self-starter with a high motivation level to take on new tasks and ensure timely and successful execution.
Additionally, you should have superior analytical skills and a strong understanding of long-term, complex sales cycles, be a convincing communicator with executive presence and be able to build strong relationship on all levels.

•Pipeline building and commercial skills in complex long-lead cycles in existing and adjacent industries
Background and experience:
•MBA degree and 10-20 years of professional experience
•Preferably Strategic Account Manager background from oil industry, or comparable industries with complex and regulated long sales cycles
•Proven track-record of global leadership and executive (c-level) interactions
