|The opportunity to join and lead the Marine Control Team consisting of three dedicated marine specialists. Your main task will be to further develop the Marine Control department with regard to safe marine operations and contract management.|

The Marine Control function is part of the Logistic Department. Marine Control is responsible for ensuring the integrity of Maersk Oil’s assets in connection with marine operations and the contract management of accommodation rigs in the Danish sector of the North Sea.
|You will be responsible for managing and driving operation tasks forward. One of your key focus areas will be cost efficiency, and to make sure we live up to all relevant internal and external standards. Equally important, you will be in charge of contract and contractor management within the Marine Control team as well as various vessel and accommodation rig activities. This includes vessel evaluations, vessel inspection and auditing.|
Overall, you will have a number of tasks in connection with our marine operations around our offshore installations in the Danish Sector of the North Sea. In addition to this, you will be responsible for marine operations in a broader perspective – such as, organizing rig moves, verifying and approving rig move procedures in connection with all DBU’s rig move activities
|Who we are looking for|
|As a person, you are a skilled communicator and a team player who enjoy collaborating across a large organization. Furthermore, you have extensive experience from marine operations such as anchor handling and towing operation in the offshore environment. |
You also have leadership skills and drive to ensure that operation and tasks are completed within the agreed time frame and budget. You must have a marine background – preferably with experience as towmaster, OIM or captain of offshore rig move vessels. Work experience from a similar position or within marine operations and/or rig moves is central to this role.
Furthermore, you must have relevant experience with:
• Marine procedures
• Anchor handling in connection to positioning of rigs.
• Verification of the bottoms characteristics before installing.
• Management of vessel and jack-up rig operations
• Contract and contractor management
• Subsea Operations (ROV)
• Dynamic positioning
• Vessel inspections and auditing
• Tendering and negotiation
• You are fluent in spoken and written English
