Are you the next OIM for the Chissonga project? This project will be based in Houston before relocating to Korea for the construction phase (est. 2 years) and the final work location will be offshore Luanda on rotation.

We offer the opportunity to work on a TLWP project from pre-construction to production.

You will participate as Operations representative in design, construction, commissioning of TLWP

You will manage daily operation and activities at the TLWP at the Chissonga Field
Key Responsibilities
Development and Construction phase:
Participate as Operations representative in the detailed design phase, including design review, adding constructive and relevant operational experience to the project.
Ensure that personnel safety and process safety is sufficiently included in the design and fulfilling the ALARP principles.
Ensure that design includes for an environmental sound and energy efficient operation fulfilling the requirements for low discharge and emissions.
Participate in relevant reviews such as HAZOP, HAZID, ALARP and QRA updates.
Participate in supervision of construction, testing and commissioning work at the construction site as part of the site team.
Participate in FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) at vendors facilities as required, ensure that complete documentation and reporting of testing activities and parameters are available incl. punch items.
Review and commenting of the commissioning procedures, including interfaces.
Participate in final commissioning and testing of TLWP and interfaces before handover to Operation.
Prepare Start up program and ensure coordination with Start up program for FPSO.
Participate in Start up reviews.
Ensure that proper punch list is being developed including required documentation; participate in punch meetings as required.
Participate in preparation of Operational and Safety procedures before start up and ensure that these are aligned with Maersk Standards and where applicable bridges into FPSO Procedures.
Participate in preparation of Maintenance and Integrity Program and ensure that they fulfil there purpose for a high uptime and a high integrity standard in line with Maersk Standards.

Operational Phase:
Positioned on TLWP ( 28/28 rotation)
Act as Companies responsible for all activities onboard TLWP
Responsible for Permit to Work system
Daily communication with Company representative onboard FPSO to discuss safety, operation in general, coming well operations and any issues of concern.
Ensure that TLWP and wells are operated safe and efficient in line with Company procedures and standards.
Monitor uptime and production efficiency.
Monitor buoyancy and stability of TLWP
Act as overall responsible in case of any emergency onboard TLWP
Continuously monitor safety performance and standard onboard.
Monitor well interventions and drilling operations.
Continuously monitor maintenance performance, back log, use of spares, stock of spares, general condition and integrity of equipment.
Ensure timely and sufficient reporting to the Luanda office in line with guidelines.
Ensure that safety is always is of priority and in line with ”Incident Free”
Observe company values at any time and in all matters
Ensure that all activities are performed in a cost-effective manner
Maintain focus on technical excellence and innovation
Support collaboration and integration across projects, departments and locations and accelerate learning and knowledge sharing
Ensure – before decisions is made – that safety, economical and commercial evaluation is carried out in order to ensure optimal dispositions
Ensure that all information, written as well as verbal, concerning the company is treated confidentially
Continue effective daily execution and optimisation of activities, whilst seeking and utilising global synergies and economies of scale
Who we are looking for
The right candidate will have the following:
BS - Engineering degree from accredited Engineering school
At least 10-15 years of Oil and Gas industry experience
5-8 years of experience as OIM in FPSO, TLP operations or similar from fixed installations
Drilling experience
