Key Responsibilities
The role of the Senior Performance Manager is to identify, manage and/or steer performance improvements to the IT operating system, allowing it to perform optimally and to continuously improve and adapt to changes in the environment.

As this is a new role and the Maersk IT function is in the process of redesigning itself, it is expected that the Senior Performance Manager will find an ocean of improvement opportunities, and hence (s)he will be required to maintain an active improvement portfolio and to prioritize the improvement initiatives with discipline.

As such, the role will entail extensive investigation to identify the critical problems via constant interaction with key stakeholders (IT Leadership and their functional teams) and to develop recommendations on the critical improvements the IT function should set in motion in order to improve its operating performance. The improvement efforts will typically entail cross functional interaction both within IT and across other functions in the company (HR, Finance, Procurement, etc) and hence the role will be complex in terms of change management and stakeholder interaction.

You will run and steer other team members to work on improvement opportunities and projects to deliver results.

Lastly, the Senior Performance Manager will work on ad-hoc assignments in support of the IT Leadership when relevant and the circumstances of the moment require.
Who we are looking for
• Minimum Bachelor degree in a relevant field

• Minimum 6-8 year of relevant work experience, preferably working with change and improvement

• Proven track record in successfully driving change and improvement in large/complex organizations

• Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience working with senior management

• Certification and experience with process management methodologies (ex. Six Sigma/Lean) are an advantage

• Certification and experience with project management methodologies (ex. Prince2) are an advantage

• Proficiency in English (written and oral) – Danish not required

• A valid work permit in Denmark

Preferred Skills
Analytical, with good stakeholder management skills, ability to work with complexity and having strong perseverance will be traits with a good fit for the characteristics of this position.
