|The role of the Information Manager is to design, operate and evolve the IT information infrastructure, including scorecards, management reports and any other type of required information for the IT function to manage its business and make informed decisions.|
As this is a new role and the Maersk IT function is in the process of redesigning itself, it is expected that the Information Manager will shape to the largest degree how the information setup will come to life, and will be required from the start to study the expectations of key stakeholders in the IT function to design a setup that is useful and appropriate to the needs of the business.
The Information Manager will liaise with information providers in IT and other support functions (HR, Finance, Procurement) in order to source the relevant information in a structured and repeatable manner over time.
Furthermore, the Information Manager will coordinate and support the preparation of information for the IT functional quarterly business reviews with the CIO, ensuring that the review material is suitable for the review process and at the right level and quality.
It is also expected that the Information Manager will evaluate technical solutions in which to manage the information in order to automate, make more self-service and real-time for the relevant audiences and allow for drill-down granularity in the information systems that will be put in place to serve the IT stakeholders.
|Who we are looking for|
|• Minimum Bachelor degree in a relevant field|
• Minimum 4-5 year of relevant work experience, preferably working with data/information
• Demonstration of building and operating some information system would be an advantage
• Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) tools and databases would be valuable
• You have attention to detail and appreciate structure
• Proficiency in English (written and oral) – Danish not required
• A valid work permit in Denmark
