Maersk Oil Kazakhstan is looking for Civil Engineer to be based in Aktau, Kazakhstan 5 days on /2 days off. The position is only for Kazakhstan citizens.

In Kazakhstan Maersk Oil has a 60% operating interest of the onshore Dunga field in the Mangystau region. The remaining 40% belong to Partex Corporation and Oman Oil Company Limited holding a 20% share each.
This role represents a unique opportunity to be part of an exciting onshore field development plan, with an abundance of subsurface data having been collected via drilling of >200 wells on the Dunga Field to date. The Dunga field produces around 14,000 bopd and Maersk have an ambition to grow this significantly within the coming years
Key Responsibilities
Ensure that the maintenance system, planning and support are properly handled so MOK is capable of delivering high operational performance.
Close co-operation with field teams in the planning and optimization of maintenance
Responsible for CSA maintenance support within the Maintenance Support Group
Provides lifting operations knowledge to shift supervisors and workers
Maintain close contact to Dunga Field units and other groups within Operations and Technical Organisation
Conducts building inspections and structures inspection timely as per schedule.
Responsible for resolving CSA problems as assigned by the maintenance Manager.
Provides technical knowledge to shift supervisors and workers
Maintains all maintenance records in good order.
Maintains a safe and clean working environment complying with procedures and regulations.
Promote a total quality work, ethic, safe and pleasant work environment and establish an environment of mutual respect and teamwork with all employees.
To assure the application to the Contract within CSA discipline of all the relevant norms, local rules, company standards and international best practice.
To ensure that all necessary elements of the MOK Management Procedures are implemented.
To provide timely work progress reports within work responsibility to the MOK line manager as required.
To document all formal communication between MOK and the Contractor, including Minutes of Meeting, Change Notices, etc.
Responsible for any communication that impacts the Scope of Work and may be taken as an instruction for Change by the Contractor.
Liaising with the other disciplines of the MOK Team.
Liaising with other resources from the MOK organization and Maintenance Contractors (as above detailed) evaluate and rank the development alternatives based on relevant KPI’s
Determines & prepares the Scope of Work for Maintenance contracts within CSA discipline and further Contractor Management including Risk Assessment and lifting operations.
Create and Provide repair tag for Contractor, where required
Accept the performed works on site within SoW previously prepared by CSA ME and punch list release.
Conduct Technical Evaluation of bidders.
Participation and organization of kick-off, work progress and close-out meetings with Contractors
Participation in team briefings and inception activities to ensure all aspects of work are understood by all concerned parties.
Monitor and control expenses related to project work within civil discipline and ensure organizational forecasts and budgets are met for these expenses.
Review and evaluate Method Statement and other technical submittals provided by contractor and vendors
Daily & weekly reporting to the line manager on the work progress
Qualifying contractors invoices against actual works performed.
Observe company values at any time and in all matters
Ensure that all activities are performed in a cost-effective manner
Maintain focus on technical excellence and innovation
Support collaboration and integration across departments and locations and accelerate learning and knowledge sharing
Ensure – before decision is made – that safety, economical and commercial evaluation is carried out in order to ensure optimal dispositions
Ensure that all information, written as well as verbal, concerning the company is treated confidentially
Continue effective daily execution and optimization of activities, whilst seeking and utilizing global synergies and economies of scale
Who we are looking for
Higher professional technical education and work experience no less than 5 years within the CSA area in Oil&Gas industry.
Experience in international oil companies no less than 4 years.
Proficiency in both spoken and written English
High ethical standards, integrity and trustworthiness.
