Damco (a part of the A.P. Moller - Maersk Group) is one of the world’s leading providers of freight forwarding and supply chain management services. The Global Service Centres serve the Damco business through its off shored sites with its state of the art information technology and dedicated employees. Damco is the second largest customer of the Global Service Centres. Today we have around 1,500 people working for Damco in the Global Service Centres with activities located in Chennai, Manila and Mumbai. The main processes we perform are Supply Chain Management, Forwarding, Customs Brokerage, Analysis and Reporting, Application Support, Value Added Services, 4 PL, Business Control, Business Intelligence and Finance

Key Responsibilities
Day to day accounting of the Cluster / Area thereby meeting the Finance Metrics.
 Accurate and timely closure of books of accounts adhering to APMM GAAP.
 Accurate and timely reporting of HFM and review thereof.
 Extensive review of all financial reporting to the Cluster / Area.
 Review and submission of Balance Sheet reconciliation on timely manner.
 Daily Bank recons and reporting, ensuring actions are taken on the aging open items
 Working cross-functionally with stakeholders both based in Pune and country to maintain and improve
internal controls
 High level engagement with country management teams and strives to add value to meet business
Ensure smooth execution of end-to-end process for Damco and act as liaison across the teams within
Pune to resolve any issues involving process disruption, process deviation and operational inefficiency
for the interest of Damco
 Responsible for all activities relating to staff supervision, including managing, coaching, evaluating,
developing, training and etc
Who we are looking for
 8 + years’ experience in F&A.
 Experience in managing a team
 Experience in delivering results through others (both directly report and indirect report)
 Experience in management reporting, financial controlling and analytical work
 Excellent communication skills.
 Awareness to Lean tools would be added advantage.
 Exposure to Period end and HFM reporting to be added advantage.
Skills and Job Knowledge
 Degree in Accounting & Finance – Bachelor of Commerce.
 Certified Chartered Accountant (Preferred)
Technical Skills
 Microsoft office.
 Hands on experience in any ERP, preferably SAP (FI / MM).
 HFM experience (preferred).
