Key Responsibilities
•Participate in risk assessments as required to ensure the safety of ongoing operations

•Fleet wide, audit all well control equipment PMS routines and update as required

•Ensure spare well control equipment is correctly maintained (PMS) and stored correctly for long term asset preservation

•Ensure all well control equipment is operated within the designed limits

•Fleet wide, ensure that a system exists and is maintained for managing certificates for well control equipment

•Actively promote the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) concepts and identify condition monitoring techniques for use in Operations

•Conduct evaluation of Equipment Failure Reports and facilitate evaluating and recommending preventive measures to prevent future failures

•Participate in investigations and support when require

•Supervise / mentor members of the Rig Subsea Teams assisting with trouble shooting / repairs to equipment

•Be actively involved in competency mapping of Rig Personnel and providing recommendations possible technical training courses to fill gaps

•Provide expertise in establishing the rolling maintenance and recertification work scopes for between well maintenance

•Make suggestions and ensure implementation of operational and maintenance improvements in all matters within his area of responsibility

•Develop and maintain Company specific operational procedures and continually review the same to ensure that industry best practice is met

•Ensure manufacturer's alerts on well control equipment are reviewed and on implemented fleet wide where

•Establish and maintain a lessons learned data base to ensure that common issues and failures are resolved on all rigs

•Ensure organization works within the Maersk Drilling systems (PM3) to document work and ensure improvements are captured within the company systems and policies

•Support the major spares and equipment exchange program by reviewing documentation and overhaul procedures

•Participate in company training initiatives, technical training courses and maintenance seminars

•Assist the local shore base with class and regulatory issues when required

•Ensure manufacturers O&M Manuals and Data Books are updated with any changes on all rigs

•Liaise with customers, suppliers and departments within Maersk Drilling

•Participate in maintaining standards and developments within the industry

•Assist operations to develop budgets, operational and maintenance procedures, contracts, contact to authorities and cost control

•Participate as directed in courses in order to maintain/develop personal and technical knowledge in order to perform the duty in the department
Who we are looking for
•Bachelor degree in Engineering is preferred

•Back ground as Subsea Engineer or similar experience gained through assignment within the industry

•Must be experienced in the use of personal computers

•Exceptional oral and written communication skills

•Must be fluent in English

•Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship
