Technical Authority Process Engineering
|The Process Engineering Technical Authority holds the technical process authority within MOQ. Main purpose and focus is:|
Ensure that company standards and procedures are followed, monitoring and approving the technical content of controlled items and waivers from company MOTS standards. Maintaining Process Engineering Technical integrity by ensuring stage gate processes are followed, MOQ procedures are followed and systems/processes are continuously updated with best industry practices. Manage, monitor and develop competences in the Process Engineering group, supporting the technical direction set by the Process Discipline Lead. Technical responsibility for the process engineering discipline. Participate in key strategic operational & design decisions. Ensure compliance with Process Engineering HIRA policies. Support and advice to other E&P departments, EPIC site teams, key stakeholders, customers.
Through these activities the Process Engineering Technical Authority contributes to the main objective of achieving safe engineering design and facility operating conditions.

Responsible for ensuring compliance of the regulatory requirements for the Process Engineering discipline.
Reporting to Head of Process Engineering & Technical Safety
Oversee the functional development of the Process Engineering TA-3 competences.
Prepare the Process discipline for further Maersk Oil expansion.
Approve within area of responsibility:
Brownfield engineering concepts and design.
Review As built documentation.
Responsible for approving operation outside design envelopes.
Make sure and accept accountability within area of responsibility:
Engineering design is carried out in accordance with Company Standards.
Process safety is observed and prioritized.
Technical integrity of existing and new brown field facilities.
Develop or endorse within area of responsibility:
Company technical standards (MOTS/MODES).
Responsible for maintaining key Process Engineering MQDS documents.
Functional Design Specifications.
Procedures and guidelines.
Provide technical specialist support within area of responsibility:
To the Head of Engineering & Head of Process Engineering.
To other groups or departments, e.g. EPIC site teams, Production Operation.
Review/Approval of waiver requests.
Provide specialist input to technical task force teams and work groups.
Cross departmental / international information sharing as required.
Maintain high technical competence and identify areas of technical innovation.
Establish and manage relations to external vendors within area of responsibility.
Evaluate, make recommendations & endorse technical queries related to ongoing projects and to operational activities.
|Who we are looking for|
|University degree in chemical or process engineering.|
Minimum 20 years of relevant oil & gas industry experience.
Detailed knowledge of offshore oil & gas processes, safety systems and Operations.
Thorough experience with design of - and modification to large offshore projects.
Confident and capable of working in a multicultural environment.
Good analytical skills.
Strong interpersonal and English communication skills – verbal and written.
Proven extensive experience within the process engineering discipline.
