Maersk Oil Kazakhstan is looking for Senior Process Engineer to join Engineering and Projects Department in Aktau, Kazakhstan

Key Responsibilities
The duties shall furthermore include the following:
Execute process engineering studies.
Responsible for the regular update of key process documents and simulation models e.g. PIDs, C&Es, firewater models, flare and blowdown models.
Contribute to development of Functional Design Specification for new FDPs.
Ensure technical compliance and suitability of equipment by PID review and Vendor document review as applicable.
Prepare concept packages for submittal to Detailed Design Engineering (DDE) staff for execution.
Coordinate with DDE staff to ensure efficient development of detailed design packages and resolution to any issues identified during the design work.
Provide project management of brown field projects to ensure engineering, construction and commissioning on schedule and within budget. Coordinate involvement with other departments, external fabricators etc., as required.
Review detailed design engineering drawings and other technical documents to ensure compliance with applicable requirements and design objectives.
Obtain 3rd party design approval from authorities in matters related to design verification.
Liaise and coordinate with Operations to ensure visibility of all changes to operational assets as a result of brown field projects.
Provide support to Operations and participate in trouble-shooting and production optimisation exercises.
Provide assistance as required to ensure an efficient handling of as-built updates.
Participate in multi-discipline and inter-departmental workshops and task forces.
Prepare response to technical queries from vendors and contractors and from other Company departments.
Establish and manage a professional relationship with Vendors to ensure provision of deliverables, services and professional expertise in due time. Mobilize Vendors for offshore work as and when required.
Manage operational asset technical changes by adherence to internal “Management of Change” procedures and observe due diligence to ensure a high degree of asset integrity.
Participate in the development of MOK asset procedures and guidelines for design and selection of process related equipment and systems.
Participate in the review and development of commissioning procedures and operating procedures for new facilities.
Maintain a sound understanding and knowledge of process simulation and calculation programs.
Coordinate and participate in process safety related reviews (HAZOP, HAZID).
Maintain a sound understanding and knowledge of current versions of applicable codes, standards and design guidelines.
