Maersk Oil Qatar is currently developing and expanding the facilities in the Al Shaheen Field offshore Qatar. Due to this expansion we are lookign for M&L Coordinator To manage and support all logistics activities to the offshore in a safe and IF oriented. Duty roster activity if require.Special attention to the waste management and IMDG requested. Expedite and receipt of material using SAP system. Ensure correct movement of stock daily. Focus on the daily communication with our offshore stakeholder. Develop a team spirit to support all the logistics activity, and sharing the means (truck, vessel, CCU). Analyze and prioritize the daily activity, and meet cut-off time.

Key Responsibilities
Plan for day to day cargo operations, be primary focus point for the in-charge off-shore location: MR request, vendor delivery, loading and offloading of cargo and vessel movements.
Ensures enforced cut off time.
Ensure proper communication with the logistics teams to optimize available vessel and truck deck space and prioritize operation.
Ensure proper documentation is in place: Manifest, DG declaration and proper labelling, it concerns dispatch and backload.
Accept direct responsibility for more complex tasks and ensure escalation to senior if required.
Ensure that all items are handled in accordance with the “materials Handling Procedure” (MHPs) and “Process Maps” and relevant documentation is completed and recorded.
Update the system at various stages of dispatch, correct transaction issues in short time.
Resolves conflicts involving scheduling, resources, or technical issues.
Liaise with procurement department, vendors, suppliers for status of material and communicate with stakeholder.
Maintaining a smooth operation in the workplace by optimizing the utilization of all available space and identifying areas of consolidation where possible;
Ensure that work is performed in a safe manner nd that proper Personnel Protection Equipment (PPE) is used.
Participate in the daily routine tasks of the warehouse.
Liaise with other team leads within M&L to ensure quality control checks and overall smooth movement of materials within and outside the warehouse.
Work to clear dispatches within acceptable timeframes and costs.
Perform all work in a safe and Incident Free manner and in accordance with established SOPs.
Actively make suggestions to further enhance the existing SOPs and systems to result in reduction in time/cost while increasing/maintaining the quality & safety of facilities and materials.
Ensures integrity of stock by being compliant to MOQ’s polices and procedures (i.e. Materials Handling procedure) on handling, packing, storing, and maintaining stock level.
Ensure all documentation and system records are maintained and up-to-date.
Report to be issued on a daily basis with a status update.
Handle non-conformances in accordance with the relevant procedures and report to HSE advisors.
Prepare and submit monthly report on status of all receipts and related issues.
Tracks and maintains logistic data (i.e. movement of stock) in MOQ’s system (SAP) in order to ensure that end of the year stock tallies with the systems records
Who we are looking for
High school certificate.
A minimum of 3 – 4 years experience in a similar field
An Oil & Gas experience is desirable.
Extensive knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry
Broad knowledge of warehousing is essential.
Ability to grasp in-house system interface SAP.
Physical fitness is desirable since conditions at workplace could be demanding and strenuous.
Knowledge of the safety and legal procedures for handling and receiving goods
Supervisory skills like planning and organizing, interpersonal skills, and communication especially listening skills are essential to succeed in this role.
