Key Responsibilities
•Manage and drive improvement of discipline parts of Local Management System
•Ensure compliance to and support application of discipline standards and processes
•Drive the effective use of the Asset Management Process across assets, particularly the following sub-processes
Integrated Activity Planning
Quality Control of executed work
Estimation and work Break Down Management
Constructability Management
•Enable discipline resources to apply relevant standards and processes when delivering work in the Assets
•Veto deviations from discipline standards or processes Locally
•Establish and develop a discipline network in the BU
•Ensure peer support and knowledge sharing locally
•Support Operations Head in maintaining overview of local construction resources
•Maintain an overview of competences within the discipline
•Drive capability assessment and development (incl. trainings and PDPs) in the BU in close collaboration with Discipline Chief and Operations Head
•Provide or identify expert advice on discipline matters across the BU's assets and projects.
•Coordinate and participate in technical assurance in the Construction discipline across Assets
•Ensure “As Built” situations are Quality Controlled and forward to Document Control for update
Who we are looking for
A candidate with:
•Degree (or direct equivalent, or relevant industry experience) in engineering discipline; or other relevant technical discipline qualification.
• Offshore Brownfield project execution experience or engineering and construction project execution experience
•Significant knowledge of offshore oil and gas industry operations at leadership level
•Proven skills in change management and introducing improvements to processes and ways of working
•Ability to engage, influence and manage stakeholders at all levels
•Proven communication and collaboration skills
•Commercial and business acumen
•Strong networking skills externally and internally
•Ability to influence business decision making
•Fluent in written and spoken English

Maersk Oil Qatar AS is the leading oil producer offshore Qatar and a recognized pioneer in oil development and production techniques. On the basis of an Exploration and Production Sharing Agreement (EPSA) signed in 1992 with Qatar Petroleum, Maersk Oil Qatar (MOQ) is the sole operator of Al Shaheen field.
The current oil production from the Al Shaheen field is approximately 300,000 barrels per day from nine different locations and is exported via two main offshore facilities.
