Be conversant with and honor the Maersk Oil’s values.
Prepare equipment for rig operations ensuring equipment is ready at time for use. Maintaining a full overview of completion item requirements for upcoming completions.
Assist Rig team in planning of operations with regards to equipment availability and requirements.
Work closely with the WS warehouse supervisors to ensure all rig related completion equipment is maintained and kept in a fit-for-purpose state at all times to prevent operational delays.
Improve certification procedures and tracking of sub assemblies and other safety critical equipment to meet or exceed compliance to industry best practices.
Continuously monitor service quality of key vendors and follow up as needed to ensure required levels of service and equipment standards are maintained.
Where relevant actively pursue the development and application of new well intervention and maintenance technology and techniques to improve safety and efficiency of operations.
Spearhead and oversee functional testing and qualification of new equipment prior to field application. Document and present test results as required.
Ensure availability of necessary documentation, including drawings, manuals and risk assessments, prior to deployment in the field.
Technical specialist for all completions equipment. Liaise and support the equipment and well engineering team with technical knowledge of completion equipment.
|Who we are looking for|
|BSc in Engineering or similar education.|
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in well completion, well intervention and wellhead maintenance operations and equipment.
Experience with SAP as advanced user will be an advantage.
The vast majority of Maersk Oil Qatar’s wells are horizontal extended reach (world record) wells. Consequently challenging Completion and Intervention techniques are applied. E.g.: floating multi-zone intelligent completions, E-line tractors and CT tractors, high deviation slick line, etc.
Extensive and in-depth knowledge of high deviation well intervention equipment and techniques (slick line, e-line, coiled tubing, pumping, etc.).
Extensive and in-depth knowledge of (intelligent, multi-zone) completion equipment and completion practices.
Extensive knowledge of Coiled Tubing Completion methods and systems.
Ability to oversee complex technical issues and to make well weighed decisions.
Strong team player, comfortable communicating with people from a wide range of cultures and from different levels.
Excellent verbal and written English skills.
