MOQ requires a Offshore Maintenance Supervisor to work as part of the Offshore team. The Maintenance Supervisor is to optimise the reliability of equipment through supervising and initiating planned and unplanned maintenance activities across all disciplines in line with Maersk Oil Qatar’s operating procedures

Key Responsibilities
Contribute to defining and executing planning and setting performance targets for the offshore organization while using direct reports to execute short term operational priorities

Provide Platform Supervisor with regular management reports and champion initiatives that enable maximum production output

Drive an incident free environment through identifying, evaluating and reducing safety risks in connection with activities in the field

Contribute to the development and execution of safe work processes and supervise the activities of subordinates to ensure compliance to relevant health, safety and environmental procedures

Supervise the safe and efficient execution of replacement and repair activities in the event of failure or malfunction

Liaise with the Production Supervisor and facilitate cooperation between onshore and offshore maintenance functions to ensure all requirements are adhered to efficiently

Provide leadership and guidance to direct reports in the execution of their responsibilities and make sure that they have correct training and competences to carry out their duties

Ensure Emergency Response Team under supervision is fully equipped, qualified and trained in relevant emergency duties

Actively participate in daily communication and coordination between offshore and onshore business pertaining to key business matters
Who we are looking for
Our successful candidate will possess:

Fluent in written and spoken English

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering discipline

Strong leadership skills in a multicultural and highly technical specialised environment

Thorough understanding and application of industry process safety guidelines and procedures

Minimum 8 years’ experience in Oil and Gas and at least 3 years’ in a similar supervisory role.
