The role of the Team Lead would be to manage and oversee the safety, integrity and operational performance of electrical equipment (high/low voltage systems, fire and gas systems etc.,) at Maersk Oil Qatar (MOQ) offshore installation ensuring maintenance as per original design and in accordance with all legislative requirements and industry best practice.

Key Responsibilities
•Contribute to designing, prioritizing and executing activity plans and setting performance targets for the Integrity & Reliability Section.
•Work with direct reports to establish short term electrical operational priorities, targets and activity plans in line with policies and guidelines; ensure successful execution.
•Identify opportunities and champion initiatives that enable maximum production output within the parameters of environmental compliance and process safety.
•Provide Director, Integrity and Reliability with regular management reports with analysis and comment on performance and results, and to be held accountable.
•Plan, schedule and coordinate future electrical integrity and reliability activities for equipment within area of responsibility between onshore and offshore.
•Provide input into the development of annual operational and capital budgets for the Integrity and Reliability Section and ensure its implementation.
•Analyse cash flow, cost controls and expenses towards optimum utilization of company’s resources in own section; question variances between actual expenditure and budget.
•Conduct financial prudence in all decisions; approve operational expenses within the level of authority.
•Drive an incident free environment through establishing and maintaining a strong safety culture.
Who we are looking for
Candidate with

•Bachelor’s Degree (or relevant industry experience) in Engineering preferred or discipline specific qualification.
•Minimum 6 years’ experience preferable in the petrochemical, refining, oil/gas exploration and / or production industries in a similar role with at lead 2 years in a managerial role.
•Experience with maintenance of topside Electrical equipment and systems is required.
•Fluent in written and spoken English
•Strong leadership skills in a multi-cultural and highly technical specialized environment
•Ability to design, set and implement operational objectives
•Result driven approach and attitude
•Knowledge of Assess Integrity and Reliability principles applicable to Oil & Gas Production facilities.
•Technical and practical knowledge with both HV and LV equipment and switchgear.
•Thorough understanding how to read a P&ID & electrical circuit diagrams.
