Maersk Oil Qatar is currently developing and expanding the facilities in the Al Shaheen Field offshore Qatar. Due to this exciting period of development we are currently looking to recruit an I & R Superintendent. The role will be focussing on key challenges to the business with the position being a key part of Maerks Oil Qatar's offshore leadership team.

The successful applicatn will be responsible for the safe delivery of MOQ business priorities from a Maintenance perspective, ensuring integration, alignment and collaboration across platforms, offshore and onshore functions with focus on Maintenance Excellence deliveries.

The I&R superintendent will also strengthen and support focus on tactical and strategic improvements, monitoring and communicating overall Maintenance efficiency across platforms.

Key Responsibilities
• Offshore accountable for meeting maintenance KPIs for the relevant center platforms.
• Champion the use of best industry practice maintenance strategies, techniques and practices to drive continuous improvement in equipment maintenance and asset integrity.
• Monitor and communicate maintenance efficiency to promote thorough awareness and focus by relevant stakeholders and direct reports.
• Support I&R Supervisors in identifying and implementing opportunities to drive improvements in uptime, reliability, availability and risk reduction to personnel and business.
• Champion focus on reliability and availability of equipment.
• Assist Maintenance Excellence Lead position in developing, delivering and maintaining Maintenance Excellence practices and principles across platforms.
• Accountable for ensuring all offshore maintenance operations activities performed are conducted in accordance with processes and procedures stated in the “Maintenance Management Standard” – by coaching of the offshore maintenance organization.
• Ensure an aligned implementation of Maintenance management procedure incl. “Inspection & Verification” practices and MOC procedures across platforms by coaching and auditing as appropriate.
• Support (maintenance departments) with the use of collaborative working practices cross field through exploitation of the CWE’s.
• Optimize cooperation between offshore and onshore maintenance functions ensuring all maintenance activities, documentation and reporting requirements are adhered to efficiently and effectively
• Champion the integration and utilization of SAP system offshore.
• Ensure constructive and timely review of future projects, strategy documents and work processes.

• Responsible for delivering KPIs for the offshore maintenance organization.
• Support onshore I&R management in defining short and long term maintenance strategies that add strategic value to the business
• Maintaining maintenance efficiency by optimization of priorities with other departments.
• Contribute to defining and executing activity planning and setting performance targets for the offshore maintenance organization
• Actively contribute to the development of the 28 days integrated plan.
• Contribute in development of the 90 day and 1 year plan.
• Oversee Shutdown planning, execution and follow-up across the platforms / centers.
• Identify opportunities and champion initiatives that enable maximum production output within the parameters of process safety, environmental compliance and uptime optimization.
• Support development, maintaining and utilization of opportunity register and Risk register to ensure maximum value adding to the business.
• In conjunction with onshore I&R management and TA’s - devise maintenance and campaign strategies thereby optimizing equipment uptime.

• Fluent in written and spoken English
Education /
Certifications • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or international equivalent preferred, or discipline specific qualification with proven industry related track record
Experience • Minimum 10 years’ experience in the petrochemical, refining, oil / gas exploration and/or production industries in a similar role with at least 5 years’ operations (maintenance) management experience.
