Maersk Oil Kazakhstan is looking for professional Field HSE Engineer to join our HSSE department

Key Responsibilities
Day to day duties may vary according to operational needs and shall be collaborated with FPSI, Drilling Supervisor or Construction Superintendent depending on job location. The following are typical:

a) Provide assurance that the HSE aspects of MOK field operations are managed in line with requirements, including, but not limited to:
• Republic of Kazakhstan national and local legislation;
• MOK Operational Safety Procedures (OSP);
• MOK Waste Management Plan;
• MOK HSE Management System;
• MOK Departmental Management Systems;
• MOK Emergency Response and Oil Spill Contingency Plans;
• MOK Environmental Management System.
b) Conduct HSE inspections of work sites, facilities and equipment.
c) Supervise/observe routine and non-routine operations.
d) Road Safety (random checking technical conditions of the vehicles, checking and giving permission for the first-entrance vehicles, participation to the random checking of vehicles speed and alcohol testing, road conditions inspection, etc.)
e) Provide safety coaching for contractor and MOK field operatives.
f) Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, risk assessments and pre-job safety analyses.
g) Report incidents, including near-misses, unsafe acts and conditions to Field Management and HSE office in Aktau.
h) Participate in incident investigations.
i) Conduct safety trainings and campaigns as required.
j) Maintain a good knowledge of MOK, national and local HSE requirements.
k) Carry out other task as may be assigned from time to time with agreement of Field Management and Senior HSE Engineer.
