Key Responsibilities
As an IT Operations Specialist, you will be part of the IT Support & Operations team supporting the day to day operations & Support in the corporate environment that delivers IT services to approximately 200 colleagues onshore and 1300 colleagues offshore.

You will be working in a fast paced environment driving performance and reliability from software, infrastructure and cloud environments, together with other functions and employees within Maersk Supply Service as well as external sub-contractors and clients.

You will be looked upon as a subject matter expert and advocate on providing reliable operations services and supporting and deploying large-scale services that run the business critical systems.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Management, maintenance and monitoring of all infrastructure services to meet the organization's current and future requirements as well as identify and respond on performance issues proactively.
  • Management of IT services to agreed availability, capacity and continuity including SLA/KPI management
  • Management of end-to-end support processes and support governance of managed IT services
  • Advise and develop infrastructure service maintenance strategies in collaboration with vendors.
  • Advising and leading projects related to design and setup of IT infrastructure services, acting as a consultant on both technical and service design aspects.
  • Cooperation with various vendors and service providers to ensure productive environment.
  • Ensure communication to key stakeholders including MSS IT management and staff.
Who we are looking for
The candidate must have minimum 1 year experience with service management/service delivery, and a strong IT operations background.

It is an advantage if you have previously supported technologies like Azure, Exchange, Active Directory, Windows Server and cisco networks.

The candidate must be able to manage the service delivery from a large diversified team and ensure delivery of operations services as agreed with service providers.

Ability to maintain good relationships with all stakeholders/third party service providers and create an environment to sustain high motivation within the team.

Good communication skills in English language, verbal and written; above average skills in the planning, execution and completion of projects in a fast paced environment.

Overnight and travel will be required for this job, approx. 15/20 days a year.
