Join Maersk Line IT on a historic transformation.

Maersk Line IT is looking for an experienced Organisational Effectiveness Lead to take on responsibilities that will strengthen the competencies and performance across our international workforce.

Maersk Line IT (MLIT) delivers software development projects through the combined talents of our own workforce and selected vendors across the globe.
We Offer
To lift our key internal roles we need an Organisational Effectiveness Lead so we can meet the ever-increasing needs of Maersk Line for world-class IT.

The role is part of the MLIT Portfolio Management Organisation and provides a great opportunity to develop tailored initiatives that will make tangible impact on the skill level, commitment and performance of our workforce.

As Organisational Effectiveness Lead you will have broad exposure at all levels of the organisation. You will work closely with leaders in MLIT to achieve your goals, ensuring their commitment to maximise the impact of the standards you develop.

This position is critical for our ability to develop MLIT talent in a uniform fashion that continuously strives for improved performance. You support our leaders in building high performance across the organisation.

You will have close collaboration with HR. All career models must reflect the overall career framework owned by Maersk Group, and learning programmes will include modules that are offered across the Maersk Group.

You will be measured not only on the quality of your deliverables but also on the adoption by the organisation of the concepts, standards and processes you are responsible of rolling out. In order to succeed, you must be able to influence leadership across MLIT to drive toward single standards of improvement.

The work is based in Copenhagen, but will take you to our other key locations as well (primarily UK but potentially also US and India). Moderate travel activity should be expected.
Key Responsibilities
As Organisational Effectiveness Lead your main responsibilities are:

 You are responsible for enhancing our onboarding and induction setup where new colleagues are introduced to the business side of Maersk Line, the functional areas of Maersk Line IT and the standard processes and toolbox all colleagues must operate within.

 You develop and maintain career models for key roles in our organisation. A career model provides role-specific guidelines for recruitment, development and training, ensuring that employees in a given role advance according to the same standards across MLIT.

 You maintain and improve our catalogue of standard titles and job descriptions. This ensures transparency around the expectations for each role and provides a platform for targeted development plans for the employees.

 You will develop the learning programme for key roles in the organisation, including the hands-on design of curricula in cooperation with leaders in the organisation. Learning programmes include industry certifications such as PRINCE2 and ITIL, but also broad business skills and softer competencies to support our strategy. The role-specific training catalogue is tied to the career model, and will ensure standards to lift the competencies of our organisation.

 You organise and evaluate functional IT training that supports the organisational objectives and is aligned with the organisation’s business plan. You support the strategy in terms of having the right competencies at the right time. The training catalogue will support the 70/20/10 model (experience, coaching and training).

Who we are looking for
You have 3-5 years’ experience from a relevant function, such as organisation developer, training and academy specialist or similar in a global company.

Experience with development of IT competencies is an advantage.

You may have worked for an IT or management consultancy.
You have a strong conceptual mind-set, but are able to translate frameworks to easily understood and workable guidelines, policies and standards.

You have facilitation experience and can design and run workshops with IT professionals.

You work in a structured manner and are motivated by end-to-end responsibility covering development, implementation and continuous improvement.

You love to get others involved and invested in your projects, and know how to implement changes so they stick.

You have advanced PowerPoint skills.

We expect you to have a Master’s degree and IT experience will be a plus.

Fluency in written and spoken English is a must. Danish is not required.
