Your team consists of 4 IT professionals who cover the whole spectrum of Application and Systems Support to a large community of internal users.
As team leader, you will be working closely with both IT and function areas supporting the management. This gives you the opportunity to develop and maintain relations with key stakeholders, including strategic suppliers.
You will be based in our office in Lyngby, Denmark, and report to the Head of Applications and Operations.
|Your overall responsibility will be line management and capability development of your team to deliver an outstanding customer focused service.|
In doing so, you support, coach and mentor team members and carry out timely performance management to effectively ensure commitment and fulfilled objectives.
You will be managing the prioritization and allocation of work across the team, providing clear ownership and resolution of incidents/faults logged along with suggestions and improvements to mitigate future incidents.
You also ensure applications/software environments are fully maintained and make sure that quality management processes of the team’s activities are followed.
Finally, you will also be responsible for maintaining and improving application and software support methods, standards, KPIs and SLAs across applications and software.
|Who we are looking for|
|As a minimum you hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering or a related discipline with an information technology focus. An MBA or equivalent as well as project management experience is desirable.|
You have 4-6 years’ experience working with broad-based information in a business setting, and you need to have experience as team leader or similar.
Moreover, experience with business consulting and understanding how to balance cross-functional business initiative is vital.
During your career you have worked extensively with ITIL Service Delivery and Support and preferably have a formal ITIL qualification.
It is a definite advantage if you have experience in software engineering involving development and testing of applications.
Finally, you need to have experience facilitating process improvement workshops and building consensus on a plan for continuous process improvement.
